Enterprise & Innovation; Website creation.

Initially I explored a range of URL buying sites and providers so we could get the best possible price for our website URL. This also told me that if the URL we had in mind was avaliable. Some of the providers that seemed to interest me more were those that gave some kind of offer, such as money off or two years instead of just the one. These providers are all the top searches on google as I thought these would be most reliable. A lot of these URL providers also do a website creation package and if you purchase this your URL becomes free for the first year. Different providers give different options in terms of software packages. After the realisation that we would eventually learn how to use dreamweaver software in order to create websites I decided this would work better over using one of these provided packages. The advantage in using the dreamweaver software would be that the website can be totally unique to us because your not stuck with a template that the software provides. Many companies will also go with this website template software so the likelyhood is we'd end up using the same template as someone else and for a graphic design business this wouldn't be very impressive.

We'd need to purchase the adobe suite software for the Mac's in our studio anyway and part of this is the dreamweaver software so it seems to make sense that it would be best to use this. Above I have looked at how much this software would cost us but generally this isn't relevent at this stage because software cost falls into another research catergory.

After a discussion with Liv, we decided to look at a shorter URL name for our website because the first was quite long winded when it came to typing it in to the search box. This alternative option is avaliable and still communicates the name of our company.
