Enterprise & innovation; Printers in Edinburgh.

Central Edinburgh.

Part of my research involved finding the perfect printer for our company as we are going to have a print based element so this is definitely someone we need to build a relationship with. I think the hardest part of choosing the perfect printer is going to be the fact you can't really gather an idea of cost because it will always vary depending on the job you are sending to print. Cost is something we are really taking into consideration throughout the whole of this business building as we are going to be limited on our spending initially. When I first started looking for printers I noticed a lot of them are a distance out of the city (i've taken screen shots of google maps to show this for each) and this tended to be because they were situated on industrial estates. I'm not sure whether it is right to assume that these printers are likely to have more equipment and exactly what we are looking for on the basis that they are located within warehouses. When considering cost again I think that the printers located within the city will maybe charge more based on the fact they are in a city and can get away with this. It then poses the question of do we go for one which is easier to access or one that is likely to be cheaper with being further away. I guess the cost is also determined by how well established the printers are. The prints are also usually delivered to a client too however there will be the odd occassion when you'll have to meet with your printer and for this car hire could be an easy option.

Graphic impressions were one of the most reliable looking printers for a number of reasons. They have years of experience as they have been established since 1992, they are a family fun business and with this you tend to get cared for more so as a customer and they have a range of facilties that include finishing so would be able to contend with any job given to them. Although they are one of the companies based out of the city I feel this could work to our advantage because the cost may be lower and they may be more willing to take on prospective clients as those in the city probably have people approaching them all the time just for the convinience.
