To gain our client base we need to write a proposition statement which would in theory sum up exactly why we are the best company for the job. As a starting point for this I decided to look at proposition statements from existing companies so it gave us an idea of the sort of things companies say about themselves. A lot of the companies I researched had many years experience in the field of graphic design so this is something the put forward straight away as this might be an important element to a prospective client. Due to the fact we are a new company so don't have this experience we would have to really 'big ourselves up' in other ways. Discussing the location of the company is an obvious part as some clients may look for a local design studio. The sections in which we can really put ourselves across as the best company are the aims and areas we cover. What do we aim to do for clients and the design world in general? What do we produce as a business for clients? eg. corporate identity. These are things we need to sit down and discuss as a team so we know exactly what we are about and can word this in a way that will capture a clients eye or interest.
